VERY shallow pockets
Disappointed over the VERY shallow front pockets on these jeans. A full 2 inches shallower than the pockets on the other LLBean flannel lined jeans I own. Scrimping on pocket material to save costs?? Unfortunate, but it makes me say no, I do not recommend these jeans.

Warm and Stylish
Fabulous jeans! He's a cyclist so he is slender (with muscular legs). He LOVES these. They look great as well. I got him his usual size and they fit the same as his other brands. They still have room in the seat and are def NOT "slim" jeans, just straight in the legs. Please make some more colors. He's going to be wearing these in every season but summer. Def stylish as well.

Comfortable, but not durable.
I bought two pair of these jeans, one about 6 months ago and the other about 18 months ago. I wouldn't describe either as well worn and they appear about new. However, both pair are failing in the exact same area. The material just left of the right rear pocket is breaking down leaving an area about 3 inches long of visible threads. Too bad, other than that they are great jeans.

Around town lined jeans
Lined jeans... mmm, sort of. Not flannel, not fleece, not thermal heat lock 3000 yada yada technology. Just lined with a cotton fabric. Think bed sheet material. So, is it warmer than regular jeans? Yes. Warm enough for a December hike in the woods or full day working outside in the wind and cold? Probably not. Good go-to winter jeans for around town, in and out of the car, in and out of the shops or down to the pub? Yeah, that works.

Old Fashioned Quality
These jeans are a throwback to the quality of yesteryear. They fit perfectly, are heavier weight and look and feel comfortable and long wearing --just the way jeans were 50+ years ago. These are great, unbaggy pants, unlike so much of the dreck of other companies' so-called jeans.
