Good quality fabric; too much of it at the waist.
The fabric is good quality. The waistband, however, is too large for the rest of the pants. I should have returned them, but I was recovering from surgery and couldn't get out. The other pair I purchased (same style, different color) had a better-fitting waistband. I plan to wash them several times and see if they will shrink a bit.

Excellent sweatpants!
I have been buying these for years. For me, they are perfect for around the house, especially in cooler weather. Good pockets for carrying your phone, etc. Made with a good quality 95% cotton fabric, so they last and don't pill like poly blends. Design is forgiving around the midsection. I hope LL Bean never stops making them!

SOFT COMFY FABRIC --- JUST DON'T LIKE WAISTBAND
I couldn't wait to try them on because the fabric was so soft, perfect for Springtime in Maine -- in all, I like them but I don't like the waistband. I wish it were totally elastic. I don't like drawstrings. I'd like to just be able to pull them on instead of fiddling with the drawstring. Pockets are great, they are SO COMFY to wear and will be perfect for cooler summer nights. I also bought in a size 10 and the fit was perfect.
