I purchased this because it has a skirt and I was looking for unattractive thighs to be covered. The skirt is made of the same material as the under garment so it is stiff and tight and completely not flattering. I have bought Bean's products for a very long time and recognize that they focus on functionality and quality (absolutely the best sheets anywhere), but unfortunately they completely miss the mark with their plus size designs and they never have products suitable for large fannies. I am having much better luck finding ok swimsuits at places I rarely shop.

Nice length
Very pleased with the style, fit and slightly longer length of this swim skirt. Very flattering. I did go up a size, as I don’t like anything too tight around my waist and I feel that these swim skirts do sometimes run a tad small. Glad I did - it fits perfectly!

Nice swim skort!
I bought this swim skort to go with an LLBean swim tank top - it's well made - I ordered a size larger than I thought I would need and glad I did as it runs very snug given that it is shapewear. I'm in my early 60s so wanted something a little more modest that doesn't scream "old lady" - this met my expectations - looks and feels good -

Very nice indeed- exactly what I wanted.
This swim skirt is great. I bought it to wear with a regulat tank type suit for more coverage.
It does the job, and looks stylish, too! But be warned that it looks different on a body less slim than that of the L.L. Bean model.
