Vista lined pants
warm and comfortable I like them so much I bought another pair! great in the snow I am warm dry and comfortable seem to be breathable I do wear the pants in the house and I am not sweating which is great I am in and out of the house all day long with 2 big dogs somebody house to go out.! as a wildlife photographer it is Great to be all dressed up and ready to go! The side pocket fits my Samsung phone perfectly. No complaints the fit true to size

Warm pants, but tight waist
Pants are warm for cold weather dog walking. Length a bit long for petites, but doable.. The challenge is the tight waist!! I wash and can only air dry a few days ---the waist will be too tight if it gets near a dryer. Waist tends to very slightly loosen after few days of wear, but should not fit like that to begin with. The pocket material is thin. Needed warmer pants so kept them.

warm and light
I just received the lined Vista pants yesterday wore them the next day they fit true to size. today in the Poconos 20 degrees with a very cold wind ..I was warm !!! the pants are light enough to walk up hill in the snow without bogging you down,, I just bought Another pair at this price yjeu wont last long

Missing my old version of lined hiking pants
I bought these pants about a year ago, hoping to replace my lined Comfort Trail pants, which have seen repeated wear for over 10 years, with something similar. Sadly these just aren't the same. Even though I bought a size down from normal, these are too big; the legs are so wide that they dragged around the ankles, even using the cinch and the lining hangs separately from the top material, instead of being fused to it. Very awkward. Lined Comfort Trail pants are superior in every way.

Great comfort but concerned about fabric.
A lot of effort went into the design of these pants: 6 pockets, 4 with zippers, gusseted crotch, dart at the knees, pull closure at ankle, also excellent workmanship. However, as I sit here with the sun from the window shining across the pants, I can see fiber filaments and small pills. I am very concerned that after only a minimum amount of wear the thin nylon outer fabric is already giving off plastic fibers. This is most distressing! What to do? With the thin fleece lining he pants are super comfortable, yet by wearing them I am adding to plastic pollution of the environment. Also, if you go off-trail and walk past anything sharp or prickly, the fabric catches creating small pulls so that there are threads sticking out. I give 5 stars for comfort, but it should be back-to-the-drawing-board with the fabric. This is the first time I have had a fabric concern with any of my many LLBean purchases. Something to be said for wool and cotton!

Sizing is way off
My body measurements are 32.5" waist and 42.5" hip. I am a tailor so I know how to properly measure myself, and according to the size charts, my measurements put me at an exact match for the size 14. That's what I bought, but they are HUGE. With the pants buttoned, I can fit my whole arm into the waistband and reach down to my thigh and still have extra room. They are at least 2 sizes too large. Quite frustrating to order off of the size charts and have the results be this wildly off-base.

Absolutely amazing
I was wearing these pants this summer when I had to go thigh deep in cold water on a rainy day to make a rescue. When I got out I expected to be a bit cold and be wearing WET pants. To my great surprise, I was warm and comfortable for the next several hr until i got to dry clothes. These pants were amazing!!! I love them for a chilly dogwalk as well.
