A Poor Substitute for Carhartt
I could not have been more disappointed in this shirt. I usually buy Carhartt shirts of this type, but this time I decided to try LLBean, given that I have had great products and support in this past. However, this time was terribly disappointing. I buy these types of shirts as over-shirts, more like a coat or light jacket as opposed to a shirt. Given that, the use of buttons makes the shirt very cumbersome, with the buttons are too small and tight, and difficult to navigate. Also, the collar seems a bit flimsy. Given that a Carhartt can be acquired for near the same price, which has snaps instead of buttons, and a more robust collar, I would never buy the LLBean shirt again, even at half the price or less. Plus, I can tell this LLBean shirt will not be as tough and last like the Carhartts always do.

Warm shirt
I like the weight and warmth of the shirt, but the color and feel are a little stiff. I hope it will fade and soften with more use.

Blue shirt with plaid lining
This shirt's plaid lining rolls up all along the back side. Very unattractive when worn! Tried to fix by pinning lining up inside but didn't look that good either. Very disappointed!

Dad Loves This!
My father is careful and particular about his clothing and looks for functionality and fit. He had this on his Christmas wish-list and my brother and I were able to get his color and size preference in time for a gift he truly loves. It looks great on him and he is happy with all of the specs he anticipated, based on the online description.

Not quite what they were years ago
I've owned several of these shirts over thirty years and really like them. They wear great and are comfortable. I wish the large size was somewhat larger and wish there were more color options, particularly dark green which was available years ago and made in Canada, the quality of which was somewhat better than the current shirts.
