The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 77% polyester/23% cotton blend.
- Ultrasoft, pill-resistant waffle-knit fabric outside.
- Lined with plush berber fleece.
- Machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low.
- Underarm gussets enhance mobility.
- Bonded construction allows for more insulation for extra warmth and prevents stretching out.

Very happy with fleece lined henley.
Love the extra sleeve and body length. Also like the snaps for the collar. Made from good quality materials. Been washed a couple of times and holds its size and form.

Great warm shirt
This is super warm and comfortable. I've seen reviews saying it's big but it fits true to size in my opinion. I'm 5'9" 200 and it fits me perfect.

As warm as a jacket
This is an extremely warm flexible sweater for very cold conditions. Great for hiking with backpack. Ventilates. Chest pocket with a velco tab, sleeves are all fur lined. Collar hook. A truly rugged winter sweater/jacket.

A personal favorite.
Exceptionally well made and very comfortable. Great fitting, wear well, and excellent color options. They look great over a button down collar shirt or over a t-shirt. True to size. I liked them so much I bought three.

Fit has changed since last purchased.
I really liked the old fit much better than the newer cut. It is slim fit now and the medium is too small but large is too big. These used to be my favorite winter shirts.

Best winter shirt ever!
This is the ideal cold weather undershirt! It is warm and comfortable because of the sherpa lining. The snaps and backing material appear tuff enuff. The pocket could be improved, it should be slightly wider and deeper and made with more durable material so it can be used as a practical extra pocket while working.

My best LL Bean purchase!
I live in New England and finally found a thick, warm, comfortable sweater to wear while working, walking, playing paddle tennis etc., outside when it gets cold. The quality is great and will last so it’s worth the price.I bought my first one 5 years ago and I still wear it all the time (I actually wore it yesterday on an outdoor walk, 20 degrees Fahrenheit). If you’re active in cold weather, this should be a staple in your wardrobe! Maybe my best LL Bean purchase ever.
