Cozy Sweater

Nice, but…
This sweater fleece is nice, however, I have only worn it once and do not see myself wearing it much more, except for maybe around the house. Because the collar is very high, my tinted moisturizer has stained the cream colored trim (I purchased the Sailcloth color). I was not able to wash all of it out, so I foresee the collar staying permanently discolored and worsening with continual wear. I will not be able to wear it out like I had originally intended because the stains are very noticeable and unattractive. This is my second purchase from L.L. Bean, and now a very expensive mistake. My first purchase was the full zip quilted sweatshirt, which I recommend.

Great except for the label
I got the light blue color and appreciate that the fabric and trim are the same color (not a big fan of bright contrasting trim). Very warm and comfortable pullover. I do still wish the Bean label wasn't across the chest; without that I could wear this to work on casual days.

Beautiful and Warm
The arctic blue color is really pretty. This is a warm and attractive sweater fleece. My only complaint is that the kangaroo pocket shows underneath the bottom of the sweater when you've put anything of any weight in there. That's not attractive. I was afraid it might be difficult to get on and off but it's not.

My favorite fleece pullover!
I owned several similar sweater fleeces from a different company (which were more expensive). While browsing through a Bean catalog I saw their version of a sweater fleece and decided to try it. They are the best! I much prefer Bean’s styling and fit. The front pockets are a nice addition as well. Very nice colors and excellent quality. My new favorite fleece pullover!

Lovely autumn sweater. Runs small.
Great shirt/sweater. Hefty and warm. I am a size XS - 0-2. I ordered a size Small and it was far too tight..even to allow a shirt underneath. Not my objective. Loved the raisin color, but it went back to Freeport toot-sweet.

Snuggly Warm on the Porch
For tonight’s Halloween “parade” of treaters, braving the cold and rain to stop at our porch, my autumn-colored sweater fleece kept me toasty. It washes well, not pilling and keeping its shape. What an excellent purchase for me, and one for my husband, too, as he has a similarly-colored, warm LL Bean top.

Petite is not petite enough
The collar is taller than my neck. Sleeves are too long. Rest of the jacket fit well. Nice structured look. I tried to get the tall collar to work but it won't stay folded over, I looked at reviews and saw that some reviewers liked the collar because they have a long neck.
