Easiest setup ever!
Having come from a generation in which nuts and bolts and screws and do dads took hours and hours to put together things like bicycles and swing sets and so impressed When I come across something that is super easy to set up and does exactly what it says, and in this case this beach tent was super Duper easy!!

Broke the second time we set it up.
We bought this tent last year and it worked great the first time. However, today one of the most important plastic joints broke upon setup, rendering the tent useless. In the photo, the broken piece was wedged into the joint to avoid ruining the beach trip, though it was only semi successful.

This is an amazing game changer for going to the beach, especially in VERY Sunny Southern California. So easy to assemble and disassemble. It also makes a very private changing room with the flap coming up. We all love it and it is as high quality as you would expect from ll bean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Excellent product, but not for us
We bought this tent for the beach. Everything about the tent was excellent, except one: the front of the tent blocked the view of the sky when sitting inside. We realized that we wanted a more open front.

Easy peasy set-up and take-down
I'm only 5 ft. 3 and have short arms, but I easily set the tent up and took it down by myself. It was roomier than I expected and provided plenty of shade and storage space for two people for an afternoon at the beach. Wish I had thought of buying this years ago. It will get a lot of use.

Great once I got it up
Great once it’s up! Took me a little bit to figure out how to actually set it up, but once it did, it was perfect to give shade/ shelter. Used it for my daughters beach birthday party. It was actually very simple to set up, I just wish I had clear visual instructions from the start.

Missing items
It was nice to get the package and it’s such an upgrade from not having anything. However, we live in Chicago (the Windy City), and we received zero stakes when we should have gotten 8 per the listing. Hasn’t been a problem YET, but it surely will be at some point. Guess we need to buy our own stakes…which is disappointing. Would have given 5/5 stars if it weren’t for the false advertising…which is not cool.

Brilliant design BUT....
Love the pop up tent, very clever design BUT the one big problem is this blue color is the same that they use in horsefly traps that you see in marshes all over New England. If you purchase one of these tents do not buy the blue one if you frequent New England beaches or else you'll be over run with them. Ask me how I know...
