Love the toddler sled!
My little boy just LOVES his sled. It slides well on the snow, and keeps him from falling out the back or sides because of the bent rails around it. I just wish that the metal on the wood runners was a strip of metal. It's just a heavy gauge wire that runs down the middle of the runners. It helps it track so it doesn't slide sideways, but it won't protect the wood from getting worn out. I might replace it someday with something more protective.

Kid's pull sled with handle
I felt the workmanship was not up to Bean standards. Rough areas on the wooden slats where my grandson would place his hands. Replacement was slightly better but still rough. My daughter opted to keep it, even though I protested it.

Fun sled for the little ones
I bought the sled to pull around my six-month old grandson and it fits the bill very nicely. It has metal runners on the skis, so even when you get to the rough areas, it still pulls pretty easily.
I bought the sled after watching the video that is on the product page. It talked about the craftsmanship that goes into each sled. My sled came with a big glob of dried varnish on the back of the sled. It must be hung up on the handle end to dry, and the excess varnish runs to the back of the sled.
Before I bought the sled and handle, I called customer service to ask if the rope pull would be included so we'd have the option of the handle or the rope, and the customer service rep told me it would be included, but when I received the sled, the rope pull wasn't included.
Overall, I like the sled a lot and we're having a good time with it!

Infant sled
Loved the sled and the bunting that I bought for our granddaughter. The only issue we had was that the pull handle had a broken screw that we had to replace. Our granddaughter had a great time and was cozy and warm inside the bunting that we bought to go with the sled.

Disappointed
This sleigh was given to our daughter as a first birthday present. After only about a month of use, the end of one of the runners broke off. The metal slider underneath does not stay in place any more which makes the sleigh difficult to pull. We are very disappointed in the quality of this sleigh considering the cost and brand. Our family has trusted LL Bean for many years and it's a shame to see the decline in their products.

What a gift!!
My husband and I purchased the large pull sled for our 14 month old grandson--he and his parents all love it. Such sturdy construction and overall quality can't be beat. If you have any doubts about which size to get, I recommend the larger size. Our grandson fits into this size perfectly and will enjoy this gift for years.
