Quality Classic
These cotton/cashmere turtlenecks are beautiful quality. Soft, smooth, and not too thin nor too thick, they feel and look great on. These sweaters are dressier and warmer than the standard, cotton turtleneck polo. I bought the black and the navy in the turtleneck and the black and the burgundy in the collared polo style. I’m 5’3” and I bought the Petite Small and the fit was perfect both in length and width. The only negative is that the turtleneck itself fits a bit close, which I only feel when pulling the sweater over my head. It’s not a problem for me, but if you have a wide neck, or don’t like something fitted around your neck, you might be unhappy.

Very disappointed
I have bought 3 of these, one just at the end of the season this year, so I haven't worn it yet. I am hoping it will work out better than the other two. The fabric in the armpit area has disintegrated to the point where they both have gaping holes in that area. I am a clean person, so it cannot be blamed on me! Furthermore, I have other turtlenecks that I have had for years and years that do not do that. There is something wrong with this fabric. I really hate to give a bad review, as I have been an L.L.Bean fan for about 30 years now. I hope the newer one will last longer, but I think I am sending the other 2 to Goodwill.

Excellent turtleneck!
I purchased the burgundy in a large, and I'm so pleased with the rich color, the great fit, and the truly lovely fabric. The sweater looks and feels much more expensive than it is. I'm fixin' to buy another one!
