Not like it used to be
Purchased this to replace a 10-year-old version of the same belt. The leather on the new one is about half the thickness, not stitched, and the buckle is a cheaper version of what it was. I guess this is just the way of the world, and Bean is no exception.

Thought about getting a custom made belt but then we could tell that this perfect belt would be best! Ordered the 34" even though his size in the pant is 32/32. Fits well. Nice color.

38" Men's Jean 1912 Belt
Well made, solid belt. My only negative comment is that belt sizes are usually based on measuring from the center belt hole (commonly, the middle of five holes), and this belt was 38" long if measured from the second hole, not the middle one.

Poor quality
Disappointed with the quality of the belt buckle. The prong on the buckle is too thin, hoping it won't break! Not what I expected. Not the same as the last belt I bought from LL Bean.
