Bought this as a gift but looked it over and it's typical excellent L.L.Bean quality. I assume the fit will be true to size. My son loved it.

Great looking sweater
Great looking sweater, true to size. Husband thought wool was slightly scratchy, but overall, a very nice-looking sweater. The henley style is a nice look.

neck does not fit right
I bought a large based on the sizing chart and my prior experience with items purchased.
Color and sizing in general are good, but the neck is a challenge. If I button one or two of the buttons then the sweater is tight, stretching in the chest. If I leave it unbuttoned, then the neck totally loses its shape. I wish it was just a plain v-neck!!
