lovely color very poor fit
The bordeaux and the lilac colour are lovely, but the fit is really bad. The first ones I bought, the sleeve length barely covered my elbow! I complained, was told I'd been sent a petite by mistake. They were replaced. I am keeping the sweaters as the colors are lovely, BUT, the sleeve length is still quite skimpy. About 2 to 3 inches too short. I do have long arms but have never encountered this problem. Manufacturers usually make sleeves long enough, and I guess those with short arms can push up slightly. As it is, I have to wear a black cardigan over it as it looks weird with the short sleeves.

Cashmere crewneck sweater
I ordered my usual size XS petite. The minute I took it out of the package I knew it was too short. I tried it on anyway; it was very cropped at the waist. It fit great in the shoulders but was just a tad too short in sleeves but still fine. I reordered in a regular XS and it was baggy looking, too long in the sleeves but ok length at waist. Didn’t work for me. It needs to be a few inches longer. I wouldn’t order this again.

Nice but not like earlier sweaters
2 years ago, my Bean sweater was lush and air-soft, with a classy blue color.
This year's sweater is definitely high quality, but I miss that special lushness - and the blue color is a bit hard (can't find a sweater with great blue color anywhere).
Don't know why this is, but I still rate Bean sweaters at the top of those I've tried.

My New Favorite Sweater
I bought the sweater in amethyst. It is the most beautiful purple color I have ever worn. It’s nice and soft and fits very well. I love wearing it and get compliments all of the time. I am 5 ft 4 inches tall and usually wear a medium. But I am pair shaped and needed the extra width at the hips so I ordered a large. It fits like a medium on me.

This is my 3rd one by LLBean - love it! Worth it!
Such a great sweater! Perfect for layering. Light enough to not be bulky, heavy enough to not feel wimpy. It pills a bit (all do), but not as bad as other brands I've worn.
