Nice shorts, but button comes off easily
Nice shorts, but this is the second pair that had the button come off. I had a smaller pair that lost the button so I bought a size up, the button is just not secure. I would prefer a metal button like on comparable quality shorts from other manufacturers.

Old guy says GREAT!
I'm a 78 year old throwback who prefers cargo shorts and these are close to perfect, except for the button at the waist. Harder to do/undo than traditional clasps.

Comfort waist cargo shorts not so comfortable
First time in years I have made a purchase from LL Bean. Bought four pair of their lightweight cargo shorts at $49.95 each. I normally wear a 38 - 40 inch waist. These were “ comfort waist “, size 40 and were very snug. The elastic in the waist doesn’t expand much at all. Can hardly tell it’s there.
