Disappointing belt.
This belt is very low quality and not worth the money. The leather surface is showing wear already after only a month. It must be made with very cheap leather. Other LL Bean belts are better, but I am very disappointed in this one.

Finally, a Great Belt
A good belt is hard to find. This belt is made of inner and outer layers stiched together and just what I was looking for. This will stretch slowly a bit, unlike single layer belts which seem to stretch from discomfort into uselessness with each wearing. It was expensive, but, I believe, the best available. I ordered a size larger, but two sizes larger miglht have been a better choice.

Hmmm…the leather looks pretty plasticky.
After looking for a nice real leather belt for months, and being discouraged by the fake leather offered, and "real" leather that's obviously some kind of processed leather product, I figured I'd bite the bullet and pay top dollar for LL Bean. I've always been impressed by their quality (most recently with great heavy sweaters). This belt has a very smooth, very uniform, non-leather look to it. It does say "Genuine Full Grain Leather" on the lining, but it doesn't look or smell like leather. Maybe I have to wear off some plastic coating? Regardless, I'm disappointed.

Chino belt sizes don’t match other LL Bean belts
I bought a brown everyday belt size 34 and liked it very much and so decided to buy a black belt as well. Ordered a size 34 chino belt and found it to be 3” shorter than the brown belt. I’d advise customers to size up accordingly.

Another good purchase
After losing some weight, I needed a new belt. I looked around and could not find a quality belt anywhere. I went to the local LL Bean and found a belt that met my needs for quality and appearance. A little pricier than what I had found at other stores, but the quality made it worth the price.

Ridiculously short
Attractive belt and nice quality. But wow is it short. I'm a 32" waist at most so I bought the 32" belt. I could barely get it on using the longest hole. I have no idea why they would cut it so short. It was essentially unusable. Returning it, but will probably get a 34" which will at least be closer. LL Bean, you guys are better than this.

This belt is right Poorly made and is over priced.
This belt is not real leather it is more like pleather. The stitching was coming loose on the back of the buckle after 4 days. This belt is poorly made and over priced. At least it was only $53. I bought a nice Italian leather belt for around $20 and picked up an another nice belt for about another $20 all for less than this chino/cheepo. Very unhappy.

Wow...Fit on Beans belts are all over the map.
I could buy four belts of the same size, but when I try them on, they'd all fit differently. Bean needs to tighten up its quality control over its belt manufacturers.
