The fit for me is disappointing. I think the rise is not quite long enough and the pockets do bulge out a bit as an earlier reviewer noted. While the idea is good, in my experience, the earlier version with elastic in the back of the pants worked better. I also like a slightly tapered pant better.

Very weird fit!
These pants fit so strangely around the waist and butt. The pockets are also very strange - super long. It’s hard to explain the strange fit, but, for me - even without the “comfort waist elastic engaged” there is a bulge on the sides and a gap between the fabric where the pockets are where I can actually feel my skin under the pants when I put my hands in the pockets. Not sure what ll bean is thinking with the redesign of these pants - bring back the favorite fit bayside twill pants!!!

Please, make a smaller size for petites
Usually buy Petite size in LLBean: the smallest size (4) in this pant didn't work for me because it was still too loose in the waist. Wearing the belt doesn't help, because the fabric at the waist bunches up.
I like the straight leg in this pant and the Heritage Stone looked nice with the Pima Shaped Boatneck Tee in Lake and Rose colors. The fabric was nice to wear to work.
