Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Great chamois shirt for Minnesota!
I bought this shirt in a great blue plaid as a Christmas gift. My friend's eye's lit up when he opened it up and he immediately put it on - a good sign. Good heft, color and feel in the fabric. Have seen it since and it clearly washes well too. Highly recommend!

Long lasting and warm

nope. hole in the elbow
I've a long time Beans fan, but have noticed over the years that their flannels always develop holes in the elbows. I lost my years-old Bean chamois, so decided to replace it with this one. I was folding it and noticed a hole developing after less than 2 months! Really disappointed in Beans quality dive.
