The jeans look trim from the front, the cut is fine; but the butt and thigh fit in the back is super loose and baggy.

Love These Jeans!
These are my favorite jeans. I like that the waistband is at my waist and they fit comfortably down through my hips and legs throughout the day. The denim is flexible for most activities and rugged enough that it will take a long time for them to wear out.

Great jeans if you can get them to fit
I ordered these jeans a little larger than my regular size as they are 100% cotton and I knew they would shrink. The length was perfect in the petite. However they were very tight at the waist and baggy in the butt and thighs. If I had washed them they would of probably fit except the waist would be to way to tight to wear.

Exactly as described!
I’ve been wearing these jeans forever! And since I’m old that means decades. They’re heavyweight denim and last forever! I changed sizes and just had to get a new pair but my old pair is still amazing. The waist is exactly as sized. Loose fitting everywhere else. High waisted style. Which makes them perfect for weekends, walking dogs, working in the yard AND wearing out around town. I do have other jeans with tighter hips and thighs to wear when I want a tighter fit. I wear size 12 regular or 31/30 in these jeans, Levis, and other common brands.

A blast from the past! Glad I tried them :)
All-cotton, heavy denim! DEEP pockets! A true high-rise. A little baggy in the seat, but tolerable. I'm fairly pleased with this jean style. When I went back for a second pair, I saw them discounted, but not listed with the Straight Leg styles. Instead there was a tapered leg, ugh!

Way too big; do not buy
I have been ordering these jeans for the past 15+ years. I am about a size 8 but the size 10 is perfect for gardening, riding, chores, etc. They look and feel great. I recently ordered 2 new pairs same size and same style as usual. They are huge. These are not the same pair of jeans. I have moved away from LL bean for most other items because they do not offer free returns only exchanges. This is so frustrating and disappointing.

Not comfortably jeans
I thought that would be fitting comfortably, but it was not. Not elastic or soft fabric. I felt that it did not fit me very well or my thought. I just tried it to see if it fitted comfortably, but I sent it back.

100% Cotton Denim can’t be beat!
I love my 100% cotton denim jeans. I was tired of buying the stretchy jeans that pucker and look terrible after a year of wear. So thankful LLBean offers the totally cotton, high rise jean. Comfortable, durable, and look great!

Huge variation in size
I've been buying Double L jeans for at least 15 years and their biggest draw has been consistent style and fit each time I re-order them. Sadly, that's no longer true.
I ordered the rinse-washed jeans in a size 14 a couple months ago and they were huge. I kept them for gardening, but wouldn't wear them for anything else. Ordered the stone-washed this week and compared them. The rinse-washed, after being laundered several times, which always includes a bit of shrinkage at first, have a waistband that is 2-3/4 inches larger than the stonewashed. I honestly don't know how this could happen, does LLB have no quality control at all any more?
Sewn-in labels and sizes are identical, the only difference is the fabric. I'll add that the rinse-washed bleed each time I wash them, and I certainly don't want to keep returning individual pairs of jeans until I find a pair that fit.
LLB are you listening? These are not a good selling points.

Love the Jeans! Tho too big
Actually, I really like the Ultra High-Rise straight leg jean, I have other pairs of LL Bean jeans and I order a regular so the leg length is good. These I ordered the same size & wish I had ordered the petite, as these are a size too big! Next time. I ordered them too close to a trip, too late to change sizes. I ordered a 4 regular, 4 petite would have been better, I am 5'2 1/2" tall weigh 112 lbs.
