Huge thigh USED to love them
The girth of the thigh was 27 inches!! Even if I grabbed 4 inches on the outer thigh, there was a softball sized clump of excess fabric at the inner thigh that could not be tailored due to the jean seam. I used to love these 100% cotton jeans. Not anymore.

Fabulous, quality, comfort, great looks!
Fabulous jeans! Quality construction stands out! moderately heavy denim (not too heavy) fits great, comfortable and looks good on, exactly what I look for in jeans. What jeans were created to be. Will last forever! No flimsy, waistband with “stretch” that just wads up, slides down so the crotch is too low and feels horrible like so many other brands do.
Only 4 stars because they are just a bit too large through hips and thighs for me.

Wish they worked for me
Sized up per other reviews which was the right advice to follow. Unfortunately these were still quite long on my legs despite getting a petite length. Additionally, the "straight leg" was more of a wide leg. If the leg opening was smaller I probably would plan on keeping them despite the length issue, but they look silly on my frame.

I always loved LL Bean jeans. These jeans are huge (petite--size 8). Looks like I might have to get these altered. That is not what buying petite is for. I am going to wash them and see if that helps.. I do love the deep pockets and it is well made...

They’re great
I’m 5’9 and ordered a tall. I have a slightly longer torso than legs and these fit me super well! These jeans come slightly above my bellybutton and they are thick like broken in vintage jeans and stretch a fair amount so they fit best after a wear. I like to roll my jeans anyways so they work great for me but unrolled they would be a bit long with flats. I’d highly recommend these jeans, I think they’d last for years.

Larger and lighter this year
I've purchased Double L Jeans for years and love that they are still 100% cotton, and much heavier than the flexible, thin jeans currently available. However, this year's version seems to be much lighter than prior years. My particular purchase - size 8, medium tall, is also a good inch to an inch & 1/2 wider and longer. Given the holidays, I'll take a slightly bigger fit, but since comments indicated they are running smaller this year, I'm perplexed. I always get the medium tall because they used to shrink lengthwise. After 2 washings, it looks like I'll be hemming this pair.

I like the fabric. Fits well in hips and waist, but should be a bit longer — say, 1 1/2” longer. I’m 5’ 6” and weigh 124. I bought a size 8.

Best pure cotton denim jeans on the market
I’m dating myself, but if, like me, you remember when jeans were pure cotton substantial denim that stood up to anything, but soften to your body with wearing, these are the jeans for you. No gaping waist and, thank goodness, no “sanding” or slashes in the material - just good looking, hard working jeans at a reasonable price. I buy the med tall as I am 5’10” and they are perfect. Highly recommend.

Love These Jeans!
These are my favorite jeans. I like that the waistband is at my waist and they fit comfortably down through my hips and legs throughout the day. The denim is flexible for most activities and rugged enough that it will take a long time for them to wear out.

Great jeans if you can get them to fit
I ordered these jeans a little larger than my regular size as they are 100% cotton and I knew they would shrink. The length was perfect in the petite. However they were very tight at the waist and baggy in the butt and thighs. If I had washed them they would of probably fit except the waist would be to way to tight to wear.
