This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Soft fabric and comfortable. A little too big. I havent worn it yet cause It doesn't look good. Maybe when i need to wear more layers.

Beautiful, soft flannel shirt
Love the fabric and the fit, which allows it to be worn over a lightweight tee or turtleneck. There is a concern that the zipper is stressed across the chest, especially when removing the shirt back overhead. I’m hoping the zipper will last but trust that LL Bean will stand behind the product.

These flannels are very soft and moderately warm. Great for layering on a cool Fall day. My only issue is they pill and shed all over the place. I don’t wear too often because of that.

Wonderful!
I love and rely on these shirts, and have for years. I like my shirts roomy, and these do shrink over time, so I just buy the large regular size even though I'm small. I pair them with the waffle henley's and am good to go all winter long. They are well made, and I've never lost a button or had a faulty seam.
