Poor quality hat
The hat is not what i would consider waxed canvas it has little or none at all. The item is shipped in a paper envelope & the the hat is crushed with deep creases & indentation. I have purchased the same hat years ago it was fantastic. The quality of the original as compared to the new one is night & day.

Tiny Hat Doesn't Fit All
This hat arrived today and it is too small to fit my 7 1/4 hat size head. Even with the adjustable band unhooked, the hat just perches on the top of my head.

Very High Quality Hat
Have not worn it yet, but it appears to be very high quality. Warm lining, waterproof treated material. Looking forward to wearing it over the cold Winter months.

Great hat
Great hat for winter or bad weather. The adjustable back strap with locking buckle is great. So easy to use and looks sharp. The wax coating sheds light rain. Unisex design makes it a family favorite. Was back ordered for a while…worth the wait!

Great rain cap by L.L. Bean
I like my new waxed baseball cap a lot. It is very professionally made. It is an extra sturdy (solid) type of rain cap, too, but not too rigid. This must be due to the waterproofing wax. I also like how low price it was to buy for high quality it is.

My favorite fall & winter hat
I bought this hat back in 2021 to wear hunting in the fall on those cooler days and it turned into my favorite hat that I pretty much wore from October through March. It is very well made, warm but not too hot. In fact, I just bought another one in the other color. You won't be disappointed if you buy this.

Great for cold weather without being too warm. I have another brand that is way more expensive but this is a more comfortable hat.
