Needs to be ironed
I am not sure what has changed, but years ago these shirts were my daily wear while working remotely. Just wash them and they were ready to go. No more! they are wrinkled so bad they must be ironed, My older shirts seemed to be thicker and that may explain the change. I will probably never buy another overpriced shirt from LL Bean.

I love these shirts but...
I always buy these canvas shirts and I love them. I usually jump on them when a new batch comes in. I was a bit disappointed on the current model as they shrink somewhat. The sleeves are a good 1/2-3/4 of an inch shorter after multiple washes. I suggest washing these shirts in cold water only. I always think a little longer is better than a little too short when it comes to sleeve length. I especially like that batch before this one that didn't have flaps on the pockets, not because of that, but because they were "slightly tapered" and the sleeves were longer.

Great Shirt
This is the best canvas shirt ever!!! I’ve bought it many times. Unfortunately the colors aren’t very great and I end up buying the same color over and over. But finally LLBean made this shirt in a khaki color!!! I ordered a couple in that color. I wish LLBean would make it in a dark brown and a dark green. We need outdoor colors that sportsmen would wear. And a nice denim blue would be really good too!!!

Sunwashed shirt
I have 8 or 9 of these shirts. I wear them all the time…work, casual, I’m retired, but active outdoors and in my workshop. I get XLT, because I need the body and sleeve length. They wear like iron, most of my shirts are years old…..my only complaint is the collar can wear out before the shirt does.

Fabric flaw
Disappointed to find a fabric flaw in one of the shirts I purchased. A long flaw in the fabric across the back of the shoulder area. This had not happened with previous shirts I had purchased in the past. Not sure I’ll purchase anymore.

Not Enough Options
My husband will only wear these LLBean canvas shirts, and he wears a long sleeved over a short sleeved). BUT they used to come in many colors for his size (XL Tall) and now there are only a few colors and NO short sleeved. So we buy 2 long sleeved in the same color and one needs to have the sleeves cut down, which is a big bother. We strongly wish LLBean would bring back the options he used to have!!

Great Fabric, Terrible Cut
My husband has been wearing the Slightly Fitted version of this shirt daily for years for his job in parks maintenance and it is his absolute favorite. The quality of the fabric is excellent. It is durable and attractive. This cut, however, is terrible. He is a lean athlete and this shirt is awkwardly cut. The forearms are fit properly, but the shoulders are baggy and the chest is tapered in the oddest way. Please, for the more slender guys, bring back this shirt in the Slightly Fitted cut!
