Great coverage, perfect bifocal!
I bought these sight unseen which is a big risk for me. Most glasses weigh heavy on the bridge of my nose, but these do not. I'm a 58 yr old woman. I can put these on my head to hold my hair back when not using them. They wrap around the sides of my eyes, giving way better sun coverage than my fashion glasses. The shading is dark without being too dark, and best of all the bifocal is placed so perfectly that it doesn't bother me one bit when looking ahead. And I don't have to hold my head awkwardly to read through them.
I bought them for an upcoming trip to Alaska, wanted good polarized lenses with 2.0 readers so I don't have to carry readers around outside (aka lose them!).
I really couldn't be more pleased with these sunglasses.

A bit tighter than expected
Tight behind the ears. I have been a long time wearer 10+ years of the performance unisex bifocals in the smallest size, but have become frustrated with the ear and nose pieces coming off (and no longer having a warranty) so decided to give these a try. My face is not large, but hopefully I will be able to have the temple adjusted so that it doesn't dig in behind my ears. The rest of the fit and view is great. Wore on a long drive and trip and was not disappointed. Swap out for non bifocal version from llbean to play golf and hike.

best bifocal sun glasses ever
The best sunglasses ever. I have used them for years. They are shaped to protect the eyes from sideways sun blare. The enable me to read the descriptions on items I want to purchase without changing from sunglasses to reading glasses. I can even read the papers, my cell phone or a book in he sun.

Magnifcation area too small
The part of the eyeglass you were supposed to use as a reader was too small. It was the size of a dime and too close to your nose. Not usable for me and had to be returned for a refund.

Not for Me - Should Have Returned
I have always appreciated the quality of L.L. Bean products, but unfortunately, these glasses did not meet my expectations. I purchased them about a month ago, and in hindsight, I should have returned them. The placement of the bifocals is quite low and very close together, making them challenging to use comfortably. Additionally, the polarization quality is not up to standard. Given these issues, I find the glasses to be significantly overpriced for what they offer.

Love these bifocal sunglasses!
Really nice sunglasses. Good coverage and I really like the bifocal feature. I normally wear readers so it is nice to have the bifocal on my sunglasses to check my phone. They are made well and the purple accent really makes them stylish. I'm so glad I took a chance and ordered these.
