Awesome wagon/sleigh
I wanted to buy my only granddaughter a nice wagon for her first birthday. Since she is out in Colorado, I wanted a durable one and thought I was going with a Radio Flyer. I came across this one while browsing for other items online and thought it looked amazing. It was significantly more expensive, but I loved the ski option. It had ALL positive reviews, so we decided to go for it. Violet loves it! Her Dad took her for a two hour walk/ride the first weekend. Last weekend they used the skis for the first time after getting a foot of snow. I am sure this will be enjoyed for many years to come.

Great Quality - but lacking details for kids
Love this wagon - it is sturdy, rides so nice, and is such great quality. My only issue is that for young children I think it lacks some important features such as a seat belt/strap and some type of cup holder. I have to be very careful that my young one doesn't try to climb out while we are walking or when I am stopped momentarily.

Ramnler Winter Wagon Set
We made two great grandsons extremely happy. We made their parents, not so. Turns out that assembly was more difficult than we originally thought. Having said that, this is a high quality product; sturdy and solid. Expect long years of hard use. .

Twin Transport
Great transport to park and farmer's market. Easy to steer and pull for 3 year olds and adult. Easy to lift into back of hatch back. Handle that folds under and between wheels is very convenient for packing. Much admired by observers with other wagons. Corner braces easily hold pinwheels, flags or other accessories.
suggest different cotter pins like in photo that would allow easy change of wheels to skis.

Great wagon
We purchased this wagon last Christmas for our Grandson and have gotten a lot of use out of it. The only thing I think would be nice is if there was some kind of seat belt in it. I put his BIG teddy bear in the back of it for some support and this has worked for me. His little face just lights up when he knows he's going in his wagon to help grandma walk the dog. We're still waiting to get a good snow to try out the skies on it.

Wheeled ski/wagon
I bought this for my 6 month old son. He loves it so far. I went for the whole thing and got the skis with it. Instead of buying the wagon and sled. I know realize the skis/wheels aren't an easy swap. I would have just done the wagon and bought a sled separately knowing that since its not always snowy in the winter where I live.

Great but one major flaw
We got this as a gift for our 1+ year old daughter. She loves it, and overall the wagon is great.
HOWEVER, there is a major design flaw that really prevents this from being easy to use and easy to switch between skis and wheels: The cotter pin design is flawed. In order to switch between skis and wheels, the cotter pins have to be perfectly straight and stuck together to even get close to getting pushed through the holes in the plastic cap and the wheel/ski itself. Then, to get the cotter pins to lock so everything stays in place, you then have to figure out how to wedge a needlenose plier in there, then bend the cotter pin (which means the pin will eventually have bent too much and break!). Then to take off the wheel/ski, you need to get that plier in there again, straighten the pin somehow (if you can at all), and then somehow wrench the pin from the hole (we had to use a corkscrew to get leverage). It was extremely frustrating. They should have a cotter pin similar to those on tractors/trailer hitches, where the straight part goes in the hole, and the outer, bumpy part goes on the outside of the axle/plastic cap.
Really surprised at LL Bean; this is the first item I've purchased from them that I was actually disappointed in (especially since it's so expensive!)

Wagon
This wagon was purchased for our 18 month old grandson, his parents enjoy spending time outdoors with him and their golden retriever. This wagon shipped on time but had an awful smell upon arrival. I contacted LLBean CS (they were very courteous) while they explained that this is a common question , all we had to do was air the tires out, smell was gone in a few days. The wagon was recently used as a sled during the first snowfall of the season, our grandson loved it as did his parents. I expect this to become a tradition for yours to come.

Rambler Wagon
Great wagon! Our one year old twins love it. We were looking for a sturdy wagon with real tires and decent steering and this is it. We also love that it converts to a sled since we were looking to find one of those too. We haven't put the skiis on yet, so we can't comment on how well it works as a sled.
One negative is that it was missing a nut on arrival, but Bean sent us a replacement very quickly.
Two suggestions- add a seat belt (our kids are squirmy, so we put in our own); and raise the sides a little higher.

Great wagon!
We bought this for my son's first Christmas - it looked adorable by the tree filled with presents! We had a mild winter and only got to use the skis once in the snow, but it was fantastic. We've used the wagon with tires on quite a bit - the tires are great and ride smoothly even over bumpy stones. The *only* drawbacks in my mind are that the sides aren't locked in and sometimes my son pulls them up, and I wish there was a safety buckle/seat belt. Other than that, it's a GREAT, sturdy, very attractive wagon & worth the price!

Awesome
I would recommend this wagon/sleigh to everyone. It doesn't matter what age your child is, for a newborn the car seat fits right in the wagon.

GREAT Wagon!
This is the best wagon I've ever used! The padding is a wonderful accessory for my 11-month-old. The wheels are sturdy, creating a smooth ride.
Unfortunately the snow melted before I had the chance to use the skis, but they seem like they'll be a very handy accessory once it snows again.
I highly recommend this wagon!

Wagon's a Bit Hit with the Kids!!!
This wagon was a Christmas gift for our two boys 2yrs and 8 months. The 2yr old loved it from the assembly to being pulled around the property. The 8mon old loves having rides with his brother and it serves as a great outside "playpen"! The 2yr old loves his "wagin rides"!
The overall quality is excellent, sturdy wheel structure/frame and handle is made of hard plastic. The axle/wheel hub is metal/steel. The plastic should prevent rusting. The wagon bed is sturdy wood with a decent finish. Padding is great and easy to take on and off.
The RAILS are the only disappointment. They are made of wood but are thin and don't feel sturdy. They do not fit snugly into the rail holders, which is not a big issue. Compared to the Radio Flyer rails they are flimsy.
It would be great if the wagon was a couple inches longer and had two single rails on the sides so toddlers could remove one and climb out without having the side completely open.
Or one side a long rail and the other two single rails.
We are very please overall, but improvements are always great!!

A Wonderful Gift for a Little One
I have waited to write the review until after we gave the wagon to our 10 month old grandson for Christmas to see how it worked out. He's not into opening gifts yet and was more interested in looking at his books at my house than most of his Christmas gifts. We had his parents open the box with the skiis first. Boy did they have a confused look on their faces! Then my husband brought in the wagon from the other room. We put him in it and pulled him around the loop in our house. He held on and smiled from ear to ear. He loved it and didn't want to get out. Everyone liked it. It is a very impressive wagon. The wheels are quite big which makes it very easy to tool around. And the padding makes it look very comfortable. It wasn't hard to put together, either. My son can't wait for snow so he can change the tires for the skiis and pull his son out in the snow. It is going to be hard to top this for next Christmas.

Love the winter wagon
My 18 month old grandson loved climbing in the wagon with the cozy cushion in their living room, imagine what fun he will have when it snows! All boys need a wagon and all little kids need a sled, what a great combination --and with LL Bean quality!

Rambler Wagon
Bought this for my Granddaughter for Christmas. My husband put it together today and said it was a piece of cake. No problems with any of the directions. We had a couple of pieces that weren't in the directions, but after looking at the completed pictures we figured out where they went. Quality of all the components were top notch. Love it can't wait to take her for a ride.

This is the third of these I have purchased for my 3 grandchildren in the past 2 years. . It is easy to change over from summer to winter and the cushions make it user-friendly for young kids (9 months) to be pulled in it. It is well constructed and I believe it will last many years.

I sent this wagon to my grandchildren
who live in the mountains of Nevada...they
are 3 and 1...it's perfect in the 7 feet of
snow that they have now! And, it will also be perfect when the snow melts and the wagon wheels go back on. It is an LLBean
classic that will last forever and will hold many fond memories.

Great Toddler Sled
We just took out our 19 mos. old twins in this and the skis worked great. They both fit in it and had a great time. For the money it is definitely more practical than just buying a sled. The directions could use better photos, had to re-do a couple steps after not reading the directions closely enough.

Rambler Winter Wagon Set
We were going to buy the sled for our 13 mo. old grandson and my son found your wagon on line which , has the skis, which would make it more practical for them living in MN. The little guy loves it, his dad tells us he is obsessed by it and they had to put it out on the porch just to give him a break. He sent us a picture of ou r grandson in it, you should see this little guys smile. With the duel use it is an awesome gift. And, as is most LL Bean products the wagon and parts are of very high quality. Thank you for help making us a hit with our grandson.

Great Buy!
Love this wagon! Such great quality. One thing I was unsure of is the fact that it doesn't have a belt to hold in my daughter, but that hasn't been an issue so far. The scenery keeps her occupied. We haven't used the skis yet, but will once it snows this season. The wheels are real rubber wheels, so they don't make any loud noises while pulling down the street.
