Love my new Sateen White Goose Down Comforter!
I purchased the "warmer" Sateen Goose Down Comforter about a month ago. I chose this item because it appeared to be more substantial than the other comforters available, with better construction and stitching. It also had generally good reviews. It arrived without much delay. It was well packed, and appeared rather flat, as was noted in a couple reviews. I laid it on a spare bed, and proceeded to shake and fluff the comforter three times a day for the next three days. It became very full, and resembled the L.L.Bean photo. I covered it with a L.L.Bean flannel cover - so easy because the cover has ties that go through the loops on the corners of the comforter. It was a dream to sleep under - a perfect weight, and very warm. I don't want to leave the bed in the morning! I'm very happy with the product, and glad I bought it. I hope its not too warm for summer!

Extremely disappointed for a lot of money!
I just received the king sized comforter. The box wasn’t very heavy. It looks like a pancake. It doesn’t look anything like the picture in the catalogue. I was told it would weigh 8 pounds. It does. The majority of the weight has to be the king size fabric. There isn’t much down in there. I held it up and can see lots of empty space in each baffle. Not much down. I’m shaking and shaking it to see if it fluffs up. It’s still a pancake. I am very disappointed. I feel as if llbean deceived me with that beautiful picture and nice description. Reality is not pretty.
