Does anyone with LL Bean read the customer reviews and suggestions?
Please bring back the Field coat with the removable primaloft liner. My old one is 24 years old and still warm, albeit with threadbare cuffs.
With this new coat, the “flannel lining” is very thin and won’t provide much warmth.

Beautiful!
This is my 3rd barn coat. I have red, khaki and now green. They wear forever and laundry perfect. Wish you would bring back the teal color. They are warm in cold weather with a hoodie. These coats are excellent quality.

Great style
I bought this specifically to do barn chores because of the pockets for horse treats and tools. It fits great but the weather is still warm so I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet.

excellent quality & fit!
Absolutely love this fall jacket! Much nicer than expected and so soft. I thought I would need a bigger size based on my weight but I went with my normal size, (M) and honestly could have gone down a size. For reference, I work out and am fit for my weight. I'll keep it because I can be able to layer up with bulky sweaters. Love the corduroy details on the collar and cuffs and the plaid inner lining. Great fall jacket!

Classic Barn Coat
I was debating whether to get this based on the conflicting reviews about the color, but I'm glad I finally decided to get this barn coat. My dad had a similar jacket (in the Men's version) and wearing this reminds me of him. It is a bit darker khaki, but it's still considered "khaki" (see photo) and I don't mind the flat stitching in the back (it's not ruched or pleated in the interior lining, so it's not a problem). I ordered my regular size small and it fit great over a thick sweater. I like a bit of a roomy fit, especially for layering, so I would recommend ordering true to size, since this is a jacket after all. The sleeves are a bit long, but I love the contrasting darker brown color of the corduroy cuffs, so not an issue w/ just folding the cuffs over to match the collar, which I was planning on styling it that way regardless. I didn't know it also had hand warming pockets, but they're pretty flat and don't stick out much, so that's good. It isn't thick or too stiff and the interior lining is soft. It has a straight silhouette. Overall it's the classic barn coat I was looking for, and I look forward to wearing it this fall. Bring on the crisp air!

Love It!
I saw this style coat on Everlane but wanted a more affordable one - this is a great choice and has a better roomier fit! I could have gotten Petite for a more tailored look, but I purposely went with regular so I could get the oversized “boyfriend” jacket look. It’s such a good looking coat with a nice weight to it. Length is perfect. The only thing I would change is get rid of the strap stitch thing on the back.. not sure what purpose it serves but it’s a minor critique. Also the dark khaki color is great, I think it’s pretty close to the online photos. Can’t wait for the weather to cool down so i can wear this!
