Great backpack, yet could be improved
Best backpack I could find for college. It's large, and holds weight without tearing. The laptop compartment should be improved as the padding (especially on the bottom) is insufficient. I bought this backpack to replace an earlier style of the same. After many years of use, the bottom interior of the book section of my first LLBean Super Deluxe Bookpack began peeling off, leaving a mess on everything the backpack holds. Hope LLBean improved the interior material of the book area! Gave this product 5 stars as despite the issues, the earlier edition lasted a long time without ripping.

Perfect size for high school.
Huge but not bulky. My teenager loves it. The chromebook in its scool-mandated case fits well in the laptop pocket.

Best in the entire world
Honestly, what’s better than an L.L. Bean backpack? I’ve had my L.L. Bean backpack since the 90s, and it’s still going strong. I didn’t really need another one, but got a gift card and wanted a little refresh. So basically this will last me until I die now. It’s the best backpack in the world. When my kids go to high school they get an L.L. Bean back pack and it will last them their entire life. It’s great for school, travel, work whatever you need to do. It has plenty of room and different pockets to whole things. I don’t know why anyone would get any other backpack.
