Warm and practical.
We found it surprisingly warm despite being light weight. Helps protect furniture from pet accidents. Would be useful inside a sleeping bag as well as on the ground. This is my second one. Would like to see a twin bed size as well.

A good item to have with you.
We have used this outdoor blanket twice now. It does well when you put the waterproof side on the ground - it keeps the dampness & dew from the blanket side. The blanket side is nice to sit on/ lay on. It does not do well to wrap around a person on a chilly nite. The waterproof side makes the blanket to stiff/ bulky when you try to wrap it around yourself.

Wonderful blanket!
This blanket is great protection from the wind! I live in west Texas and we get tons of wind. We like to sit around our gas fire pit during the winter. This blanket is soft, warm and wind proof! I've tried plenty of others and they never worked well. This is the one! I haven't used it in the rain yet because we haven't had any for two months. I have spilt liquid on it and it just ran off and did not soak through at all. I would anticipate it doing very well in wet weather. Thanks LL Bean for another great product for the outdoors!

The blanket itself was fine--we have ordered them in the past and been pleased with them---but they changed the regular storage bag to the tiniest little pouch that is absolutely impossible to use. You can't get the blanket in there unless you work at it for 30 minutes and then when you remove the blanket, it's all wrinkled and crumpled. The old storage bag was perfect---why did they change it???!

The blanket appear well made and is soft on one side with nylon water resistant back. It rolls up easy. Have not washed it yet but from its quality makeup I think it will do well. Will get another and likely the extra large once back in stock.

Very noisy
The blanket is very warm for its weight. The waterproof lining helps keep wind away if using outside. The main issue is the lining is very loud. Got it last week and took camping this weekend. Tried to use it as a blanket at night and had to remove it due to noise when moving, it woke me up. If noises aren’t an issue to you the blanket is great.

I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews about how thin and noisy this blanket it. It isn’t really what I would call a blanket....more like a picnic throw....wanted it to use as blanket for visiting with family outside ( because of Covid ) in winter....I will keep it because returning it during a pandemic is too difficult. Will use as a picnic blanket on ground....but overpriced for that.

Exceptional quality
I bought two of these for my 2 daughter’s families for Christmas. They are large, soft and will come in handy for soccer, baseball etc. games. Very compact in the little travel bag. I got them monogrammed with “The Smith’s” (example) to make them more personal.

Sturdy Comfortable Blanket
We only had a chance to use it twice but it seems like a great outdoor blanket so far. My only complaint is the lack of tie-down hooks and something similar found in many other outdoor blankets. That would have made this the perfect blanket for all outdoor occasions.

I loved the color, size, and carrying bag.
The blanket smelled musty/ mildewy. I thought maybe it had been stored in an unheated and/or uncooled place.
I washed and dried three times according to directions. It still smelled. I love Bean and I hate giving up!
I laundered a fourth time with a cup of vinegar. It seems to have taken care of the foul odor.
Looking forward to using this spring and summer.

Definitely waterproof!
Used this at an outdoor track meet when it rained really hard with a cold, gusty wind for about 45 minutes straight. We huddled under our umbrella and used this to cover our legs and feet and it kept us completely warm and dry. I only wish it was easier to store. It was hard to get it back into the stuff sack when we were ready to leave. It would be so much easier if it could just be rolled up and clipped together like the LLBean sleeping bags, preferable with the clips on the nylon side, so the fleece side could be folded, rolled in, and protected. Still highly recommended for any outdoor event in the rain. They never cancel...unless there is lightening!

wished the dog loved it
i bought this because my dog likes to sleep with me, and i wanted something warm and waterproof for her to lie on so she'd leave my side of the bed alone; however, she hates it, and so i use it as another cover--hoping her contrary nature will lead her to covet it if it's not offered.
