My favorite hat
I love this hat. I spend 8 months of the year at my old farmstead in Maine and when I’m here I wear this hat 90% of the time. The only uncomfortable thing is I have had several folks ask me if I am a retired warden and can I answer a fish and game question for them.
Plan to to get a couple spares in the other colors.

L.L. Bean Has Sent Me A DEAD PINE TREE !!
L.L. Bean SHOULD UPDATE the PICTURE of this PINE COLOR hat!!! It ISN’T the SAME PINE color as the one I bought a few years ago! This one looks like a DEAD PINE tree, or I would say maybe army green, but the L.L. BEAN LOGO on the side, is the PERFECT PINE color I am looking for SAME as my lost hat!! Besides the PINE COLOR is A LOT OFF, the hat is still as well made as usual!!

nice hat, but......
Ok I have a big head, but his hat fits....well, funny. It's plenty big enough around, but doesn't go on your head very far. Fit's kind of like a small kippah. On the plus side, it's well made and good looking. Fits my wife fine.

Not worth $20
This hat is huge...barely got it small enough to fit well. Also the strap to tighten is poorly made, the slack does not stay in place. I understand that some of the proceeds go to the state but this hat really isn't worth it!

Love this hat...except for 1 thing
Purchased this hat after buying one of the Waxcloth hats just like it. I needed one that would breathe a little better than the Waxcloth...which it does. I am, however, not very satisfied with the buckle strap on the back. The velcro strap on the Waxcloth hats is much higher quality, one of the best I've seen. I was hoping that this hat would have the same velcro strap but it doesn't. It would be great if they could switch that out!

Great hat-good color
Was a little surprised by the green color when it arrived, it was a little duller than in the pictures, but I liked what I received better because of that. I was thinking in the pictures that the green was a little bright, but I was pleasantly rewarded with a nice hat that I'm happy to wear. Was thinking of ordering it a long time ago, but was afraid the green was too bright--should have ordered it anyway and returned if not happy. Have always been pleased with LLB products over the last 30 years or so that I've been buying from them. Well-built stuff and it all lasts!

North Wood's Law Hat! (Well, pretty darn close!)
My dad's favorite show is North Woods Law so it was a no-brainer to get this hat for him. I couldn't decide on the green with the deer, or the blue one with the trout on the side, so I got both!
He loves them!
