The waist band sucks
I have worn these pants for many year and love them. I just ordered a new pair and now they have changed the waistband and they are horrible. They used to have a wider elastic and it was sewn on flat. Now they are just rolling over the fabric and sewing in a thinner elastic. It is uncomfortable and they bunch up like a scrunch around your waist. It is pretty sad that these are $100 pants and I could get the same quality for $20 at a big box store. LL Bean used to be known for their quality, but not anymore. I'll be sending them back. Do not order these pants.

Good style, better material desired
Pants look great on me, true to size and are versatile for most uses. Washes quite well.
Material wasn't as nice as I wish it would have been (thus 4 stars instead of 5), but, overall, happy with purchase and would purchase again.

Best travel pants ever!
I purchased these pants in navy, and 2 other pair in black and blue denim. Wore them on an extensive traveling trip. So comfortable and easy to pack with minimum wrinkles. I'm 67 years old and 5'1" and 100 pounds. I had a stroke last year and found these pants perfect to pull up and down without help due to the comfortable elastic waist. The tapered legs are really attractive and don't look baggy when walking. I'm making these my new everyday pants. The fit is perfect!
