I have been buying L.L. Bean Perfect Fit Pants for over 20 years. Every woman needs several pairs of black, comfortable pants in her closet! She also needs various colors of comfortable pants that look dressy and/or casual. These pants also have to be machine washable and look good without having to be ironed each time they are worn. I have tried other brands with the above described criteria but I always come back to L.L. Bean Perfect Fit Pants. They will always be my choice! There is no reason for me to waste my money on any other brand!

Perfect fit
Great pants for a woman who is not hippy but carries her weight in the waist. It is an elastic waist but not binding… so hard to find these days. Love them.

Fits VERY large
I sized down to a small based on the description. It is still huge huge huge.I don’t think going down to an XS will work I knew there wasn’t a drawstring, but that wouldn’t have helped. I am 5’6, about 134lbs, 64, and fit. If you can get the right size, great.
