Ultrawarm 3/4 Down Coat - some suggestions
The coat is lightweight and warm. I do wish the side pockets were larger/deeper. Also, the cell phone pocket is useless for modern phones. Seems that this does need to be repurposed or eliminated. Also, the velcro strap to fasten under the chin when using the hood is very wide - I feel like I have an orthopedic neck collar on and not comfortable. I would suggest making those straps less wide.

LOVE THIS COAT!
This coat is the perfect length and weight for cold weather in Montana and the Dakotas. It's not slide-off-the-road-and-walk-in-a-blizzard weight, but it's great for ordinary well below freezing in northern climate winter. LL Bean really hit it between a warm and storm functional coat that isn't so heavy that it only gets used a few times a year. It may be the best winter coat I've owned. I purchased the coat in Spruce. It's a beautiful rich jewel tone teal green. At first I didn't think I'd like the way the outer collar hooked together with Velcro, but I've found that it's perfect and well designed. If it's really blowing in below zero wind, I can cinch it up snug making the collar absolutely wind proof and the hood snug. If it's just cold, then I can slightly overlap the Velcro and make a really nice fitting but more "open" collar. It's long enough to be really warm when walking, but not so long that it's awkward when coming indoors or walking in milder conditions. I'm 5'4" and weigh 127 pounds and purchased a Medium. I'm able to wear a tee shirt and heavy sweater under the coat without feeling crammed into the coat. Love this coat!
