Just right
The hammock seems to be well made and it certainly is comfortable. Ours is strung using tree savers between two trees that are about 20 ft apart. After a couple of adjustments, it was just right for a nap. It's quite a sail and will spin in the wind if left unoccupied. I used a long bungee cord for a tether that allows for swing but not rollover.

Glad its Back!
This is my second hammock from LLBean. I tried to replace my original purchase last year and they removed from availability(?) Only replacing because 5+yrs ago our puppy at the time jumped up and chewed the support ropes They held on forever! Looked terrible, but hammock surface was perfect and looked new. Was about to recycle frame and gave it one more shot. So happy to be able to replace this year! Worth every penny!

This set up- the hammock, stand, pillow and blanket- seems like a lot. It is not. My family got me this set up for Father’s Day two years ago.
This is a game changer. You sit In this thing and you chill. You lay In this thing and you are off the grid. Put headphones on and you wake up two days later.
It’s magic. It’s beautiful. Buy this.

Excellent Quality
The Sunbrella hammock is very well made and comfortable. Two average size adults can share the hammock easily or you can really spread out by yourself. Very supportive and comfortable. The rope portion is similar to a standard rope hammock and I usually store the hammock in a shed when not in use. I anticipate many, many years of use and I am happy it is made domestically.

Best decision of the summer
I bought this 2 months ago at the beginning of the summer, it was my best decision. I love spending time on it, my daughter did her summer homework reading on it, it has become a new slice of paradise in my yard. It has survived outside storms, dries quickly after rain, and still looks beautiful. Worth it, so glad I purchased it!

Worth every cent
I purchased this hammock and the stand for my husband for a combination birthday/Father's Day gift and he couldn't have been happier! The whole family loves and enjoys it as well! We have received many wonderful compliments on it when people come to visit. I purchased the green & white striped hammock(which reverses to all green) and the green stand and it fits in quite nicely on our porch against our log cabin walls. The fabric is sturdy, attractive and comfortable. The hammock is quite roomy and has a weight limit of 450 lbs! I highly recommend purchasing the stand although it does come with sturdy hardware to attach it to trees or heavy posts. The stand has a nice finish, is sturdy, and very easy to put together(no tools required) and is really easy to move around on our porch. The stand and hammock are very large so if you are thinking of putting it on a porch or deck be sure to measure ahead . I'm sure it would be just as nice under a tree or on the lawn. What do you get the man who has everything? An LLBean Sunbrella hammock! Trust me, he'll love it and so will the rest of the family! Thank you LLBean for making such a wonderful product!

Best Decision Ever!
This was a gift for myself and I absolutely love it! So comfortable and roomy to relax on after a busy day of yard and field work. It fits nicely on the front porch and my husband enjoys it also. Well-made, sturdy material and no fading issues yet. Easy to get into and out of.

Very Comfy
I bought this hammock (along with the LLBean stand and pillow) for my wife, who enjoys hammocks, and she loves it. It fits nicely on our deck and looks great. Very comfortable and definitely built for two people. It is a wide hammock, so think carefully about purchasing if you are looking for one with a smaller profile. Seems well-made, and did I mention that it is comfortable?

Oh Mice!
Sturdy, beautiful, functional. Don't store it in the shed for the winter. We found damage to the strings from mice. This is not covered by LLBean since it is not a defect or age related. I will have to see if I can get it restrung by hatteras hammocks.

Gorgeous Hammock
This hammock is well worth the investment. The quality and craftsmanship are superb and the comfort ~ undeniable. We use it on an old LLBean metal frame and it is perfect. I usually go for more unusual, unique prints, but this traditional stripe is vibrant and appealing. One caveat: We don't leave ours out in the rain, as it takes a long time to dry.

Replacement of hammock
Can't say enough great things about the service at LL Bean! My previous hammock had been used by many mappers and they were very true to their word and replaced it with another sunbrella hammock that matches the hammock pillow and accessory holder. Let the naps commence!!!

Sturdy, attractive, well made
I purchased this hammock after browsing online and in retail shops. I'm very glad I waited to order from L.L.Bean. The hammock is reversible, which is useful, and perfectly matches the heavy duty hammock stand I also bought from Bean's. It's strong enough to hold at least 400 pounds, and my 6 foot 4 son and husband both feel comfortable relaxing on the hammock albeit with a pillow ! I'd definitely purchase this item again, when, and if, this one ever wears out.

disappointed with the hammock
I have had this a couple of weeks now and orignially thought it would be superior to a rope-style /cover combination. However, I find this hammock lacks the comfortable "give" and does not dry as well after a rain soak. I wish I had gotten a new rope and cover type to replace my old one (also from LL Bean) instead.

This style of hammock is so much nicer than a rope hammock. The Sunbrella material is very comfortable and the fact that it's waterproof is fantastic. We love the navy and tan stripes. Hopefully it won't fade in the sun.

Wonderful!
We love this hammock. It is expensive but I got it when L.L. Bean was having a 20% off sale. It is so relaxing to lay on, I usually just fall asleep while watching the clouds slip across the sky.

Haven't had it long enough to say how good it holds up, but this well made hammock has been a family hit from the minute I put it up. Original intent was to put it between two trees on hooks. At the last minute I added an adjustable strap to the purchase. Then before hitting that 'send order' button I went back and added the metal stand. Couldn't help myself so then added a monogrammed pillow and the wheel set for moving everything. So now I can move this all over the lawn using multiple set ups. Should have bought it years ago. I'm still amazed how comfortable and relaxing it is just laying there doing absolutely nothing.
