Nuts About This Shirt
I have other flannel shirts from LL Bean but this is my favorite. The cut of the shirt is a perfect fit for me. I also love the blue fog color. I saw this in the store and was drawn to it, but I did not really need a flannel shirt. This turned to want when I got home so I ordered it . NOT sad.

Favorite Flannel Ever
I own a couple of scotch plaid LLBean flannel shirts, and they’re nice enough. Enter this shirt - hands down my favorite flannel shirt, ever. It’s very soft, comfortable, and feels a little more substantial than my other LLB flannels. The detailing is beautiful. Keep those new colors coming!

Too small and too large.
Nice fabric, soft and warm and a pretty color. Good quality overall. I found the fit to be odd. The body was overall large and loose, but the shoulders and arms fit too tight. Because of this I sent it back.

Disappointed in Fabric -- Poor Quality that pills!
Having previously purchased and loved LLBean flannel shirt (Item 506162) in a muted red plaid, I purchased this 1912 Field Flannel Shirt (Item #52438) in Storm Teal to go with more items in my closet, but the fabric of this shirt is vastly different from 506162, which has retained its thickness, softness, and freshness over at least two seasons. The fabric of this item is very poor quality: it pills and already looks dull, worn, and frumpy. This is a huge departure from the LLBean quality that I have relied on in the past!! You have forced me to purchase from a competitor.

Best. Flannel. EVER.
Bought this in Burnt Mahogany when I was at the flagship store in Maine in early October, and wore it twice that same trip! The quality is just phenomenal, the fit is flattering (I purchased the XS) and the colors are so vivid. I have an overflowing closet and I find reasons to wear this shirt. Work? Yup. Date night? Yes. Thanksgiving? Oh yeah.

Agree with those who stated this shirt did not live up to LL Bean quality. After one washing, the shirt (particularly the teal shirt) looked ready to give away to Goodwill! The colors were great and it would be good if you could offer them as options for the Scotch Plaid Flannel.

Shrank in cold wash, fabric became rough looking a
This shirt in size L fit me perfectly out of the package with a little extra room. Before wearing it, I laundered it according to the instructions -- cold water, delicate, low heat dry. Even took it out of the dryer to hang out any wrinkles before it was dry. It shrank so that it fits much more snugly, more so than I prefer. Also, the fabric became very rough looking without actually feeling rough; I think the fibers released from the surface by washing will be prone to pilling (as borne out by some reviews). A $71 shirt from Bean should reflect better quality. Disappointing, as the colors are very appealing.

Women’s 1912 Field Flannel Shirt
i absolutely love the green plaid of the shirt and it fits so well! I had received the small size and it fits great, as long as it doesn’t shrink when washed. I am 5/7, 130 lbs. I have a medium on back order too. Great shirt and colors!

The fit is passable, a bit short (for a petite) and wide. The quality doesn’t live up to LL Bean standards; looks old with one washing. And limp. But it was the only attractive plaid on offer this season, so I am keeping it. Most of your choices are too old lady for this 50-something.

Poor, Thin Material. Not LL Bean Quality.
I wanted to love this shirt. The blue is so pretty. However, first thing out of the package, I noticed it felt thin. Not heavy and durable. I have worn the shirt and washed it a few times. It is definitely not holding up. It started pilling by the third wash. The material just isn't durable and it feels more like a pajama top. I returned it and am going to watch for a thicker flannel, LL Bean.

Love this flannel!
Overall, I love this flannel. The colors are beautiful and the cut is forgiving. The fabric has a soft drape. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the shirt shrunk almost a whole size when I washed it in cold water. I recommend sizing up. I exchanged for a size up and bought more colors!
