So soft! Soft, warm, luscious colors!
I live in flannel during the cold months and bought the shirt to go with this season’s « in » color, brown. Liked it even better when it came, as it has some orange and light green that are more unexpected and add zip to the effect. It’s also so very soft! Warm and well-made as is Bean’s customary standard.

A large hole appeared in under a year
This was my favorite shirt. Soft and warm, it looked great. It was the first thing I reached for after doing laundry. I used it gently, washing it on cold, drying on low. Winters are short and not that cold where I live, so it wasn’t used heavily, and I’ve had it for under a year. I’m shocked that there’s a hole near the collar, and so very sad. I purchased this in January—it’s been under a year! I expected better of LL Bean, and trusted them to make a long-lasting garment, especially at this price. I wanted this to last for years, and not turn into an expensive “fast fashion” type of item. I hope to figure out how to patch it.

Warm and Comfy
I am really enjoying the 1912 women's flannel shirt. It is a heavier weight flannel and looks a bit more brushed after a washing. It didn't pill and hopefully it won't in the future.. I purchased the multi colored black one. I love how the pinks and tans soften up the black. It's a beautiful color for my skin tone. It is a little boxy for my petite frame but I knew it would be before buying it. I take care of this by wearing a fitted vest over it. They look good together.
