Love it
Had been eyeing this vest for a while & after telling the wife I wanted it I had to wait until Xmas to make sure she didn’t buy it already. She did & I love it as much as I thought I would. Warm snug fit & love the hood which was a big reason I wanted it.

Just about perfect for me!
I bought this during the Black Friday sale, and I think it is just about perfect for me. I love the warmth. I love the hood, which surprised me. It provides great warmth in 30 to 40 degree weather when I’m out walking and hiking without overheating. It is also great for wearing around the house. I put it on almost every evening. I love the quality of materials, even the inside of the pockets feel so nice when you put your hands inside them. I love the fit, so comfortable.
I had bought an 800-fill down vest from a competitor brand and it was just too uncomfortable, too tight in the hips,. The guy at the LLBean store explained that 800 fill is great if you are climbing Everest and every ounce counts. For walking around town and getting in the car, 650 is just great, maybe even warmer. It certainly isn’t as stylish as the other one but it is way more comfortable, and much cheaper. A way better value.
I am concerned a bit about the zipper and whether it will last. It has already gotten a bit persnickety to zip up or down right at the bottom. It seems to stick very so often.
I am also surprised and a wee bit disappointed that there is no inside pocket. It seems like it is a standard feature on almost every jacket or vest of this sort. Not a deal breaker by any means though.

Classic Puffer Look and Warmth
Great puffer vest with hood. Body fit was excellent and hood design is perfect. Covers head without the extra overhang and stays in place in the wind. Very warm and comfortable.
