Long loved for their waterproof protection and tough-as-nails durability, our Storm Chaser quilted pull-on boots are now better than ever. Our softest midsole provides exceptional cushioning while the updated outsole offers even more all-weather traction and stability.
Our designers took our customer-favorite all-weather boots and made them better than ever before. They added a supremely cushioned B-Bound® midsole for more comfort, and a luggier VertiGrip outsole for improved traction. What hasn't changed is the tough-as-nails durability our Storm Chasers are known for.

- Cushioning: Supersoft B-Bound midsole plus True Cushioned molded-EVA footbed
- Weather Protection: TEK2.5® waterproof membrane, rubberized toe, and synthetic mudguard trim

Good warm winter boots
These have good tread and are comfortable. Hard to pull on at first bc of my high arch but were fine after one wear. Warm. Still slip on icey road.

They are getting a 2 because they are solid and keep my feet dry in the slush. They would get a 1 otherwise. The string doesn’t stay closed. The traction is minimal when it starts getting icy. My bear paws have better traction. Huge disappointment.

Warm boots with one draw back
These boots are warm and I'm happy with everything except the fastener to cinch up the top of the boot does not hold. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I won't be wearing these boots in deep snow. They don't stay tight at the top. I bought them for snow shoveling and they work well enough for that. If the fastener becomes more of a problem, I will McGiver something with velcro.

Great boots for snow!
Excellent in snow and slush. Keep feet dry and warm. Easy to pull on, no ties or zippers which is a huge plus.

Wish it came in Wide
Great pull-on boot. I returned the size 9-1/2 for a 10. Although the boots look like they would be spacious inside, there was little room for a heavy sock or toe warmers. I tend to wear Wide shoes when available. I have yet to try them for an extended time outside to test the insulation quality.

Caution Storm Chaser Wearers
I love my Storm Chaser 6 Slip-Ons, the sole is much nicer than before, so I ordered these. Same size but the foot is just different enough that it pushes your toes forward. Plus there isn't as much height above the big toe. They fit, if I wear thin socks. Snow boots and thin socks? Ah - that would be a 'no'.

They are warm and true to size. Unfortunately they feel sloppy around the ankle. Also they do not have much traction on icy surfaces.

Comfy, excellent traction
True to size; I wear 9.5 medium and bought a 9.5. These boots fit very well. Easy to slip on quickly, no ties or zippers. Excellent for walking in snow and on ice; great traction. Highly recommend these boots. I’ve pulled these boots on 5 times today for dog walks. They’re very comfy!

clunky and didnt fit right
I was looking for an easy slip on boot to get mail etc. this boot was too large in the heel for my foot and too hard to pull on thru the ankle/arch area.

Nice but too small and tight
The rating is low because the boots were too tight, I wear a 7.5-8.5 in casual and tennis shoes. Ordered an 8 and my toes were jammed up to the end of the boot and they felt a little narrow.

Warm and comfortable.
Very warm and comfortable boots. I have had cheaper types that are so stiff that there is no flex at the ankle, making it hard to walk. These are great. There's a big storm on the horizon, so I'll be ready to give them the complete test, in snow and ice, soon.

High quality but too stiff in sole for me
Very well made but just a little too stiff in the sole for me and my 64 yr old legs. I wanted waterproof, warm slip ons for ice, snow, slush and long periods of activity in the snow building snow sculptures. These would have been great, good tread, high quality upper fabric but I needed more flexibility in the sole. I returned them and went with the Rangely lace up pac boot.

Comfortable, and easy on and off!
Looking for a winter boot that didn’t look like I just came in from the barn (I already have too many of those!) and these are perfect fit, style and comfort. I wear a medium width and needed a secure fit which these provide. I needed a boot that was easy on and off to walk down to the mailbox or out among the dogs, and could stand up to mud, rain, ice and snow. I also wanted a heel that didn’t interfere with my knee joints and lower back; again, these boots accommodated all these issues. Finally, I require good arch support, and the footbed does not aggravate my plantar fasciitis. I added alpaca wool felt foot liners for warmth, and there is enough room in the toe box and heel to allow for the inserts. LL Bean never disappoints when it comes to footwear!
