Runs small with odd hoodie
I'm a size 6 so I got a small (6-8). It's snug. Allover snug and cut tight so it's a wrestle to get it back off when I get sweaty. The sleeves are the perfect length but I'm short 5'2" and with my thumbs through the holes theres no extra fabric. People with long arms may be annoyed with the length. I wear as a base layer under another mid-heavy weight fleece and sometimes with a down vest as I'm power walking in weather down to 0°F. It's warm and I'd like the hood much better if it wasn't so tight across my face when it's pulled up. It leaves seam marks on my face and I have a very small size head. At the same time, the top of the hood over my forehead is loose and flaps around letting cold air in so the second layer I wear over this is also a hoodie that tightens to keep it close to my head. I think a light band of soft, stretchy elastic may have helped it be more form fitting around the head. I really do like the drawstring free design of this base layer but the proportions are off and it runs small.

weird hood
On the positive side the material of this hoodie is very warm and sizing is fine. the problem is with the hood/face mask. If you wear the hood with the mask, its' ok. But if you don't want to wear the hood, or if you want to wear JUST the hood, the contraption becomes very bulky and unattractive. I will keep the top because it is so warm, but will wear it only when I'm going to be seen by the dogs.
