Cute but snug
This jacket is cute and warm, but runs small. I have purchased the longer version of it in the past and same thing; ran small. I most often wear a petite medium or large. I got the large and no room for layering. Just fits. You may want to go up 2 sizes.

The fabric has changed and is stiff and crunchy
I got this as a replacement for what I expected to be the exact same black jacket that I bought several years ago, but in a different size. I have several of these jackets in various colors, bought in years past. The current version is NOT made of the same fabric. The old fabric was waterproof, but still soft and pliable. The new fabric is stiff, crackly, and crunchy. It feels like wearing something made out of a sheet of plastic. Very disappointing. I highly do NOT recommend the current version of this jacket. Why can't Bean leave well enough alone???

Not a fan of the faded olive
I just bought this coat in faded olive. In the book, it looks much closer to an off white. In real life, it’s a weird, unpleasant green! Disappointed. Fits well otherwise.

Well Made, Perfect for Colder Days
I bought this for early morning walks when the temps are in the 40's and a lighter coat is
Cozy warm and perfect for colder days (temps in 40's/low 50's) when lighter jackets are not enough. It is cozy warm. Pockets large enough to hold cell phone and dog treats. Although I measured for a Medium (5'7", 145 lbs) I returned it for a Large. The medium would have been too snug if I layered with a sweater. Nice coat with the usual LLBean quality.

Perfect jacket tor fall and winter
The color is perfect, neutral, and the thickness is good for cooler weather, 40s and 50s here. I now have two of these both the same color, the longer coat and this one. Fit is perfect and interior fabric allows it to easily slip on with long sleeved clothes.
