We've improved our most popular medium duffle, loved since 1996 for its travel-tough durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access. Meets most airline carry-on requirements.
Introducing our best-ever Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening, more comfortable shoulder strap and a new storage pouch you can use as a packing cube while traveling. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 35L bag uses 17 plastic bottles.
- Spot clean.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Outside zip pocket.
- Redesigned storage pouch can be used as a packing cube while traveling, and to store duffle between uses.
- Adjustable, removable shoulder strap has improved sliding design with wider symmetrical padding.

Great looking and very durable
It is very good looking and it holds all that I need for a week in NY visiting the grand kids. I have two other LLBean bags that I have had for many years and expect this one will also last a long time.

Quality seems fine, but has very unpleasant odor which transfers to clothing, etc., that is packed in it.

LL Bean duffle
Very simple and very well-made duffel bag that I purchased for the gym. I do wish it was available with a few less logos on it or smaller logos as it is covered in three large L.L. Bean logos. Aside from that, it is made with L.L. Bean’s top quality and I do expect it will last a long time.

Perfect Weekend Duffle
I find this duffle easy to carry. Even when it's full, it's not too heavy and the shoulder strap makes it easy to transport. I like that it resists water. It was one of a group of three that I purchased. This one is in mint green and very pretty, too.

Sturdy excellent design perfect for gym or trips
Excellent design and workmanship with rugged fabric and zippers. Perfect size for gym or weekend trip. Will fit in overhead or under seat. Easily holds a couple sets of clothes and footgear.

Disappointed no compression straps
I have an older version and wanted to buy a new one, but theyno longer have compression straps on the top of the bag. That was a great feature, so won’t be buying after all
