Excellent rain shoe!
Comfortable, practical and good looking. I usually wear a size 13 shoe. Based on the sizing recommendation, I got a 12 in the Bean shoe. It fits perfectly and is more comfortable than I remember the boots or slip ons being. I wear custom orthotics and they work well.

Nothing like the original Bean shoe
This is my third pair in fifty years. The soles on my last pair were getting a little too worn. I am very pleased that LLBean still makes these in Maine. They are well built and certainly do last.

Great shoe! Runs at least a half size larger than your normal shoe size. I’m an “old timer”, so I’ve worn them forever!

The classic of 1912 up to date
Sturdy, comfortable, abbreviated version of the Maine Hunting Shoes that I’ve owned since 1977. My only quibble is that the laces should be a few inches longer.

Pretty good, not great.
Like others, you wonder why Bean can't size these shoes the same as others. Why the insistence on their own sizing model. Anyway, they're good enough shoes for the purpose they're designed for. The tongue on one is stiff and rubbed a sore spot on my foot. A positive feature that Bean will resole them if needed.

Most Awesome Boot I Have Found
