1912 8” men’s boots
These boots replaced a vintage pair of LL Bean boots that had been resoled many years ago, but eventually fell apart.
The salesman suggested I try a full size smaller and he was right. I purchased a 12, not my usual 13.
The green is a sharp color.
I hope these last for many years to come!

Boots Are Big
We didn’t know you have to order one size below your normal.size. So there was an exchange. Will see if these work well during rainy season in Costa Rica.

Authentic Classic boot, really happy with my purchase after all these years of seeing others wearing them. Just get a size smaller, I’m size 10M had to exchange for size 9M, which are perfect.

112 years of excellence
Boots fit true to size. I wear merino hiking socks when I wear these boots and they are comfortable all day whether I'm on a gravel road, asphalt road or hiking through the woods. The Bean boot has been around for 112 years. You don't hang around that long unless you're high quality.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase!!!
I just got my size seven boots and I am an 8 and 1/2, here on the island of Kauai it is wet but not too cold as you can imagine since we are close to the equator. So thinner socks and no insulation needed. I just slipped them on and they honestly put this huge grin on my face. They fit great, look amazing and I am out the door to go show them off to my friends. I haven't seen too many people wearing them here on the Garden isle. Goodbye;
only a Bean Booter knows the feeling!!!

The Classic
I have had a pair of LL Bean gumshoes for over thirty years; and recently decided to purchase the classic 1912 Bean boot. The gumshoe is easy to slip on; but to get the full protection from heavy snows or deeper puddles I wanted these boots. They are made from quality materials, and they have a classic look that is timeless.
