Beautiful and sort of cute.
Nice vest. like the color, olive. Patches, I removed them. The tree was out of season, the two at the bottom are too bright. You cannot really tell, looks nice. If the patches were more traditional I would have left them. I don't mind patches on my day pack, but these were wrong for me. I may get the rust color if it is still in stock. Fits great in a Medium. Pockets at the bottom are big, my phone fits. The top pockets are small, I use them for lip screen or my neck scarf. I'm 5'4" so the vest length is good. Wish it was 1 or 2 inches longer, but
it looks great. I wear it a lot; for hiking, walking, and even shopping. This vest it is really made of quality materials, and a wonderful L.L.Bean piece of traditional looking clothing.

I have a question?? I have a Sasquatch Iron On patch I would like to add to this vest. Can I do this? The Iron must be really hot. will I melt the fabric? Please advise :-)

Medium Fit Best
I ordered a Small and Medium due to various comments. I have a large bust, so the Medium fit me the best. I liked the Bust Darts to give it a bit of shape and I really like the patches on the Olive version. Some years ago I bought a package of vintage style LL Bean patches, now I finally have a vest to put them on. I'll look like a walking LL Bean advertisement, which is just fine with me. The two lower pockets are large enough to be useful, I cannot say the same for the two chest pockets, but then I probably wouldn't use them anyway.

Beautiful and timeless
This is a classic, there is a review on here where someone said it’s disgusting and they were left speechless. Well they’re wrong I’m here to tell you that person has a crab up there you know what. This vest is beautifully constructed and it’s cute I love the patches, why that person didn’t use their eyeballs to see the vest prior to buying it. I’m not too sure. Had to clarify and defend this vest. Yes it’s a tad big not CRAZY huge my goodness. Love you LLBean!

I love it! Allspice beautiful color, unique
On a whim I cruised the LL Bean site looking for a fishing vest.. and I landed on this one. It just so happened to be on sale that day- so, score. Well, I LOVE it. It was exactly what I was looking for. The decals and cool... not scout-like at all.. you get what you want. The length is perfect on me - high hip. It does look really good with the polo top that it's featured with - I bought that too in the Katahdin khaki color.

I don't know what kind of body this vest is designed for...the armholes are so large, I could try the vest on via the armholes!!!...if I could give minus 3 stars - I'd like to do more - and the patches leave me speechless!!!
