Best fitting shorts I have found.
If you are a slim hipped woman with a boyish shape, these are the perfect pair of shorts. They don’t balloon out on the sides. They are cut straight!

Not up to LL Bean standards
I bought 2 pairs to take on a trip. Felt good and fit well at first but as soon as I washed them the fabric was really wrinkled and looked terrible. Buttons on both pairs are coming off. The seams pucker and the shorts shrink when dried. They stretch out some during the day but don't fit correctly. I can't fold them to put them away or they wrinkle up and need ironing to look presentable. Too much work!

Nice shorts but high rise.
Overall good dressier shorts. I prefer shorts that do not come up so high on the waist, but these are pretty comfortable with the stretch band. They are advertised as mid-rise, but they are high-rise on me. They were too long, so I hemmed them. I wish these were available in shorter lengths. Size 12 fit me best and I am 5' 4" and 136 lbs.
