Not true to size.
Great windbreaker however not true to size. More tapered. Husband is true medium. This is only the second time returning a product due to size in at least 10 years.

A nice lightweight windbreaker, runs very small.
I just bought this for my fall walks where I want to wear a layer or two and put this on as a windbreaker on those days by the beach where the wind is kicking up.
When I received it, I was only wearing a T-shirt. I tried it on, and it was way too snug and constricting. I'm regularly an XXL guy. I'm not even sure if I went to XXXL that it would be large enough to accommodate a base layer and a long-sleeve shirt, so I might look at a different product.

Order 2 Sizes Up!
This windbreaker jacket is sized way too small! You would need to order 2 whole sizes up if you plan on wearing this as an outer layer over a thin sweater or grid fleece midlayer. I couldn't even get it over a T-shirt with short sleeves. The description said "Slightly Fitted", but that was a misprint as it should have read "TIGHTLY FITTED". Outdoor clothing is supposed to be worn loose and in layers. This item fails miserably in that respect and will be returned. I will be very hesitant to buy any further LL Bean clothing in the future, unless I can try it on in a store.

They run very small.
I ordered a 3xxl size because I wanted it to be very large to wear sweaters beneath it and still be loose and comfortable. When I got it, it was way too small. The size chart is way off. My advice is to order TWO sizes larger than you normally wear. Otherwise it can't be " a light and airy" windbreaker.

Light & Airy Windbreaker Men's Regular
