A seriously soft and substantial crewneck sweatshirt in a long-lasting cotton/polyester blend. Our heavyweight fabric is brushed on the inside for an extra-cozy feel.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.

a good medium weight sweatshirt
its hard to find a sweatshirt to fit my long waist. the medium tall size is perfect. the reason I didn't rate it five stars is because the sleeve cuffs are always a little tight when I push the sleeves up my forearm.

Love the product, hate the LOGO!
I have owned many Katahdin Iron Works sweatshirts over the years and have loved them. They are just about bombproof, very well-made, handsome and dressy on the outside, and comfortable on the inside. All this being said... I have recently come up with one issue that really ruins the beauty of this sweatshirt... the new version of it has a big, bold LL Bean LOGO on the chest! I now feel like a walking billboard and the casual elegance of this sweatshirt is gone. I am SO disappointed... For heaven's sake, LL Bean, the obnoxious logo pasted on the front needs to go!
