Waist size much too small
I wish I would have read the reviews before buying these BeanFlex Five-pocket cords. As mentioned in many other reviews, the sizing of these cords is really off. I wouldn’t recommend even sizing up one size as they will still be very tight in the waist but too loose in the leg.

Way too small!!
I ordered these pants in the same size I always buy from L.L. Bean. The pants were at least 2 sizes too small. Very disappointed because I like the fabric and look of the pants. I returned the item.

Disappointed in Current Fit
I purchased two pair of these cords in the grey and camel a year or two ago in size 8R. They fit great! Wanted the olive and burgundy colors and assumed they would be the same fit so I ordered the 8R again. The current version is too tight in the waist and hips, and I have lost weight in the meantime! There is no noticeable stretch in the pants. For reference, I am 5'2" and 120 lbs. Even though I kept the first two pair in the R length, in retrospect I should have ordered the P length as they are a little long, I kept them anyway because I wear them with heeled boots. If I were to reorder these, which I won't, I would order the petite. Also, I know the 10 would be too baggy so I will look elsewhere for cords.

Not mid-rise
I called before buying these pants. I was assured that they would hit at the navel. Since I have a great pair of old LL Beans that hit at the navel, I ordered them. The rise is very short, considerably below the navel, and the waist is too tight for such a low rise. I weigh 105 pounds yet I could barely button these pants. I have worn a 6 petite forever, but these will have to go back. Which is too bad, because my old corduroys are getting holes, and I had high hopes for these as replacements.

way too small
I often buy your size 8 Petite and these were much too small for me. Also the inseam was only 27" when you usually advertise 28" for petites. I can fix the button hole that is much too small for the button. Fabric is just ok and I like the fine wale, but I hate the added spandex -is not as soft, adds weight and takes much longer to dry. Whatever happened to nice cotton corduroy?

Cords are way too tight.
I wear a size 6 in all other Bean pants, but even the 8 didn’t fit me. It’s a different cut apparently.
