Lovely, but it pills.
A lot to like about this shirt: the plaid is lovely; it is as warm as I hoped. But weeks in, it began to pill, and that's become more and more of an issue. The fabric simply isn't of good quality

Fabulous Look!!
Sizing, length and sleeves are fabulous. Colors are spot on. I get so many compliments when I wear this. Material is just right. I can dress it up or down and there is enough room for a thicker top or sweater!!

Not what I expected
First of all, I'm a loyal LL Bean shopper. But with this item, listen to the other reviews. I thought there's no way LLBean would make something subpar, but then I received it and saw the sewing didn't line up, it looks cheap, and is so scratchy. It was returned immediately.

Shacket material
I gave this item 3 stars because of the material it's made of. I was expecting more of a fleece. The material is scratchy around my chin where the collar hits other than that, its roomy enough that you could wear a heavy sweatshirt or sweater. I'm hoping the more I wash it, it will become softer.

Excellent quality. Heavy weight and very warm. it's like wrapping a warm blanket around you. Compared to other companies, the value is superior to it competitors. My wife wants to purchase more. She loves it.

well-made shacket
I got this shacket to wear in the cooler temps. It is a very warm shacket and perfect for wearing over a t-shirt. The green and white colors are beautiful. It does run a little big so instead of a medium which I usually wear I ordered a small and it fits perfect. I have received several compliments while wearing the shacket.

Size down and wait for a sale.
First of all, it’s huge. I’m a big lady, 6’, 210lbs. I got the large and I am absolutely swimming in it. I think a medium would still fit me for the intended “relaxed” sizing. Second, it feels cheap. It’s unlined, and mostly polyester. It feels like the terrible scratchy polyester clothes that those of us who were little in the 80s will remember with horror. It’s fine as a breezy layer that’s neither too hot nor too thin. Aesthetically it looks good in that sense, if it weren’t so massive and baggy. In no way does it seem worth the $109 price tag. Any $40 shacket from another shop would likely seem higher quality.
