Too small everywhere.
I was very hopeful that these gloves would see me thro the rest of the winter on dog walks. No such luck. I needed functional, warm gloves. They were too small both in width and length. I purchased a large size; my hand is a very normal women’s large size but I doubt that these gloves would have been comfortable for a ladies small fit. The material was not very ruggid but I returned before I had a chance to test them out. Nonetheless they looked very nice, just disappointed they didn’t fit.

Nice but runs small
These are very nice gloves, but, I had to give it a 3 because of the fit. I ordered a Large. My hand is large, but, not unusually large. (8" palm, 3" length longest finger) I cannot bend my fingers with the glove on. The fingers are too short. There was no option to order the next size

Good Everyday Gloves
Nice gloves for everyday wear. Not quite as warm as expected, maybe good to about 30 degrees but perfectly fine for colder weather when worn with a liner glove.

Difficult to "slip" them on.
Great gloves except that the lining appears to be a 2nd glove...and it is a bit difficult to put on because that "lining" can bunch up. Really have to wriggle into them. Once on, the are very comfortable.

Gloves Run Small in Size
According to L.L.Bean size guidelines, a Women's size Large should have fit me. However, the gloves were extremely tight and uncomfortable - simply, too small. These are attractive gloves and and a very nice quality. I will be ordering the Men's version of these gloves in order to get a good fit. If the gloves came one size larger than my expected size, I believe that would be a good fit.

Nice, but I prefer last year's. RUNS SMALL.
Gloves by this same name were also sold last year at this time, but these are very different in a number of ways. The sizing runs small. In last year's, I wore a Small. This year, I could barely get the Small on my hands. Exchanging for Medium size, they now fit but with no room to spare. The store hangcard they're attached to says "Stretch" with a 4-direction arrow. But with non-stretch black fabric on the entire face of the glove and all the way up the fingers, plus non-stretch fabric on the backside upper half and all the way up the back of the fingers, there's little fleece fabric left to actually stretch.
The quality is very good, the cuffs are longer than last year (nice), and I have to imagine that the new design with lots of non-fleece fabric was in response to customers who asked for more non-absorbent fabric on the glove faces to add durability. Too bad both designs can't be made available. I don't do much outside in the cold, I just need warm gloves. But LLB does need to address the sizing issue before next year's run is produced.
