Beautiful cords, prefect fit
We are quite happy with these cords (purchased for my husband, who is tall and lean). Color is rich, fabric is a nice weight and they are up to LL Bean's standard quality. Just ordered another pair for him in mahogany with likely another pair (the dark grey) waiting in the wings.

Pants fit perfect
This is my second pair of corduroy pants from bean. Ordered my first pair a year back and the second pair recently. These are well made and fit well. I usually am hesitant to buy pants on the internet, but have come to trust that pants I buy here will fit.

Loose fitting but of good quality

Stretchy waste, useless.
These pants now have an elastic waste. Without a belt, they slide down your hips.
this type design doesn't work for adult males who prefer pants that stay at the waste.

Love the pants, BUT...
Too bad L L Bean does not do alterations on men's pants. He had to pay $40.00 to shorten two pair because I cannot see well enough to do it myself.
