almost perfect
I bought this in a size small, I usually am a size small or medium just depending on the cut of the item and if I want to use it as a close fitting layer or not. I ordered a medium but was accidentally shipped a Large so I will be returning it. I will be reordering this in a medium. I am afraid if I got the small it would shrink after repeated washing. The cut and darker accent lines on the blue version are very flattering. It's almost perfect, but the fabric is just a tiny bit scratchy as wool can be, but the waffle type weave I am afraid it will get snags on it.

fabric is soft, fit is relaxed although the sleeve length is extra long requiring a fold over to hang comfortably. Maintains shape and size with cold water wash, have not placed in drier for fear of shrinkage.

Beautiful and Warm Sweater
This is a beautiful sweater - the stitching details and color contrast are unique and different from your average sweater. It is also very warm while feeling lightweight. The spruce green color looks beautiful with my fair skin and red hair. With LLBean clothing, I wear small and medium, but I went with the small for this sweater (I am 5'6", 140 lbs). The medium size fit, too, but it was roomier and I preferred this sweater to be more fitted. I recommend to anyone looking for this style of sweater.
